A design project is usually meant to create more success within my clients business or organisation, so in this spirit I like to make the process as exciting as possible. I'm very flexible in production and can pretty much fit meetings and presentations around you, in or out of business hours and at a location which is the most suited to the project stage were developing (I've had many productive planning meetings in cafés and bars).
I deal personally with all meetings, strategy and design and when the need arises I bring in talented friends to provide certain elements that I don't offer myself. These elements include Proofing, Testing, Web Development and sometimes Business Strategy and Photography.

Project Planning is FREE of charge within my local area (East Yorkshire), outside this area I may charge for travel and lunch expenses.
Graphic, Web, Logo & Identity design is £25 per hour and for new clients I request a deposit of £200 to be paid after the FREE planning phase. Staged payments must also be settled before a project can proceed to further stages.
Print management is charged at £25 per hour.
Printing costs must be settled before I commit the print job to my printer to ensure that I aren't left in an awkward predicament.
Web updates and other web services (Search engine optimisation, online marketing, visitor analysis etc) rate is £25 per hour.
Web Hosting is £50 per year for non-database hosting and £100 per year for hosting with a database.
Domain names are £25 bi-yearly for .co.uk or .org.uk and £50 bi-yearly for .com or .org
Design & Print is very specific to the material you require and the necessary printing specs therefore it would be impossible to provide a ballpark cost.
Brochure Websites start from around £2000 - price includes Accessiblility features (see Accessibility Help for details), Basic Content Management (Lets you edit elements of your website yourself), Search engine friendly (Good foundation for Search Engine Marketing), Web-statistics with client access.
Database driven websites start from around £5000 - Features all of the above with a more integrated and elaborate Content Management System. Includes database functionality that is specifically developed to suit your strategic needs.
Logo design starts at around £500 and comes with single and full colour scalable artwork for screen and print use.
Identity development and design starts at around £2000 and includes the above and an Identity Guidelines Document (helps ensure all of your activities are aligned with your identity).

I'm not a salesman and I don't pretend to know whats right for your project within the first hour of meeting you. My approach is more thoughtful and considered so rather than label myself a 'professional' I'm better described as an 'Amateur' (in the real sense of the word meaning `a lover of`).
